Alexandros ("we", "us", or "our") provides a mobile application that helps you log workouts, track progress, and receive AI-generated training recommendations (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account information: email address and authentication data when you sign up, including via Sign in with Apple.
- Onboarding and profile data: your training goals, experience level, nutrition preferences, and training frequency.
- Workout data: exercises, sets, reps, weight, and effort ratings you log, whether entered manually or through free-text messages parsed by our AI.
- Chat messages: the text you send to the conversational logging feature, which is processed to extract structured workout data.
- Images: photos you choose to upload (e.g. a profile photo), stored via our cloud storage provider.
- Subscription information: purchase and entitlement data managed through RevenueCat and the applicable app store.
- Usage data: basic diagnostic and log data generated by using the App.
How we use your information
- To operate core features such as workout logging and progress charts.
- To generate training recommendations based on your logged effort and exercise history.
- To process conversational logging messages using a third-party AI provider (OpenAI) in order to extract structured workout data.
- To process and manage subscriptions and purchases.
- To maintain, secure, and improve the App.
- To communicate with you about your account or the App.
How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information with service providers who process it on our behalf, including:
- Cloud hosting and database providers that store your account and workout data.
- OpenAI, to parse conversational workout messages into structured data.
- Amazon Web Services (S3), to store uploaded images.
- RevenueCat and the applicable app store, to manage subscriptions.
- Resend, to deliver transactional email (such as verification and account emails).
These providers are only permitted to use your information as necessary to provide services to us.
Data retention
We retain your account and workout data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.
Your choices
- You can edit or delete your workout data within the App.
- You can request a copy or deletion of your data by contacting us.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription through the applicable app store.
Children's privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
